In loving memory of Wendy Harris who tragically passed away on 19th December 2016

A loving, devoted Wife and Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend she will be forever missed by everyone who she touched.

A celebration of Wendy's life will take place on Thursday 5th January 2017 at Bramcote Crematorium at 3.30pm

Where possible - Phil, Christian and Matthew have expressed a wish that everybody who is going to attend, write down their favourite memory (no matter how trivial, long or short) of Wendy on a blank card and bring it along to hand to the usher or funeral director, these memories will then provide the family with a collection of memories other than the ones they cherish now.

Please come along on the 5th January 2017 and help celebrate Wendy's life and tell the world what a very special, unique and beautiful person Wendy will always be remembered as

Rather than the expense of flowers, we have chosen QMC Hospital Adult Intensive Care, as the recipient for any funeral donations due to the excellent care of Wendy in her time of need, and the level of empathy, respect and love that the members of staff gave not only to Wendy, but to all of her family and friends in our time of need. We can never thank those individuals enough but our intentions are to generate enough money to provide other families in similar situations with enhanced facilities and to ensure the staff are recognised for their sometimes thankless endeavours.

For anyone that would like to visit and pay their respects to Wendy in the Chapel of Rest this will be open from the 3rd -4th January (10.30am - 4.30pm) at Lymn's Beeston - NG9 2AY. Please contact Donna Conroy at Lymn's who is looking after Wendy on 01159220433 to make an appointment

Love and Best wishes

Phil, Christian and Matthew

I would give everything I have, and more, just to see you one more time....to tell you how much you mean to me and that I love you so much, always have and always will. So proud to have you as my sister and I really don't know how I'm going to manage without our chats. You always used to say, when we lost someone, "Don't you ever do this to me, I don't know what I'd do ." It never occurred to either of us that you would go first, and now it's me that doesn't know what to do, each day realising that it's not some horrible dream.
Life can be so unfair, you had so much still to give and so much to look forward to. You're in my thoughts every day, every night , and I miss you so,so much.
Love you to the moon and back. Julie xxxxxx

Wendy was such a lovely lady and don't know a person who could say a bad thing about her. Everyone knows Wendy was a great mother to Matt and Chris, but she was also like a mother to me. She was always there looking out for me. I just hope she knew how much she meant to me.

I will always remember Wendy and all the little things she would do, like coming round and before I had my shoes off she would offer me a drink from the list of 101 different options. Always trying to feed me and get me to stay for dinner, which was always hard to turn down. I tried so many new foods thanks to Wendy, some of which are now up there in my favourites. I may not have ever tried them without her generous helpings and encouraging spirit. I wish I could have another moment to thank her for all she did to help make my childhood what it was.

One more thing that will always make me smile fondly was how I would call up and be greeted by the iconic phone number that I still remember now being chirped down the phone in wendys happy tone. I would only be calling to simply ask Chris a quick question however I would be on the phone to Wendy for a good half hour chatting about god knows what and never minding at all that I'd forgotten why I phoned in the first place.

I have so many great memories of a wonderful lady and I am truly and deeply saddened knowing she is no longer with us.
She will be missed. She will not be forgotten. She will always be loved. XxxX
