Mike was without a doubt, one of the most genuine and friendly men you could have had the pleasure of meeting. I got to know Mike and June over the 5 years I worked at the local pub, and always use to look forward to our weekly catch ups after they'd taken the dogs for a walk.

He was always there to listen to my problems and was always so supportive of me and for this, I am so grateful.
He will be greatly missed by many x
Thinking of you all at this hard time. Keep strong, you know how proud he was of all of you x

12/04/76 was a memorable day when I met Mike. He endured much in his life but, it was never about him, It was always about the love and pride he had in his family.
One of the funniest, most positive people I ever met. Certainly the bravest, as it was never, 'why me'.

We were never in each others pockets, but just picked things up where we left off whenever we spoke. I will miss him.
The world has lost a special person.

My heartfelt sympathy to June, who stood with him through thick and thin and his girls and extended family, of whom he was so proud.
Over 40 years Mikey. Never to be forgotten John

Mike - How I remember my many visits to see you all and winding you up by always defending the girls and their actions. It used to make me laugh when you said 'stop it' but of course I didn't stop.
You have fought bravely for so long but now it's time for you to rest, although I'm sure you will still watch over June and the girls, but I warn you, I will still defend them!!!
My thoughts and love are with you June, Katie, Gemma, Simon, Spencer, Jack, Jessie and Will.
A sad and difficult time but I'm sure happy memories will help you through. xxxx

For the past 5/6 years I had the pleasure to serve Mike an excellent pot of tea made by myself, no milk though may I remind you to then becoming a friend and a man who was so kind and too cheeky to ever keep out of your memory.

The family in itself has always been an absaloute pleasure to speak too down Porthkerry Park where Mike loved to commute for a good old chin wag over a cup of tea with me whilst June was walking the dog even mention the other customers but I won't say if you won't ? All I have to say to anyone that new Mike it's never a goodbye it's a see you later, as he will never be forgotten by so men. All my love to family ?
