Dearest Grandad, One of my earliest memories is living with you and getting up early waiting for you to get back from your night shift at the age of 5. I only got to know you properly as i grew only and learned to listen. You were so kind and witty and clever and so so handsome. Never have i met anyone so photogenic and ready to offer a lovely smile. Never in my life could I have chosen a better Grandad. I can't explain how much I miss you. Life will never be the same without you in it. I am so proud of you, proud to call you my Grandad. Thanks for giving me my wonderful mother, she is just like you, warm and funny and kind. In my heart forever my wonderful Grandad. xxxx

Grandad...you are irreplaceable, you gave us all so many years of happiness, I lived with you as a kid and absolutely loved it. We didn't want to lose you but we didn't want to be selfish and keep you here suffering. We will all meet again so for now, keep the family safe and when we all meet again we will have more great times.
