In loving memory of Pat Bates who sadly passed away on 7th December 2016.
Pat was a teacher at St Marie's RC School until she retired. She was a fervent member of St Marie's RC Church and belonged to several groups in the village where she lived.
Pat was diagnosed with ovarian cancer approximately 4 years ago. Since then she has been so brave, never complaining, and still thinking of others before herself. In recent months she became less mobile and neighbours and friends rallied to help support her so that she could stay in her own home for as long as possible. Mercifully she didn't suffer for too long and remained cheerful to the end.
Katrina would like to thank everyone who helped and supported Pat in so many ways.
