In loving memory of Margaret Hill who sadly passed away on 13th December 2016.
A life lived....Margy ❤️
Growing up mum was a Huthwaite girl born and bred! She attended the village schools before she moved to south normanton after her marriage to Adrian Hill. That is where she made our home and raised us so lovingly.
Through out mums working life she worked as a machinist and bar maid before becoming a shop assistant at spend and save in south normanton, where she made some wonderful friends!
Mum was a huge sports fan...from tennis to cricket but her real passion was football. Mum was a massive Manchester United fan and when they won the treble she celebrated for a whole week!!
Some of our greatest memories are the holidays we shared as a family in Mablethorpe and Skegness...mum was truly happy when we got to spend such valuable time together on holiday, making such fantastic memories!
But unfortunately on the 13th of December 2016, mum passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, after a short but well fought illness.
Our mum was pre deceased by her late husband Adrian Hill. Margaret also leaves behind 4 heartbroken children Sarah, Nick, Lara and Kirsty.
Mum will also be greatly missed by her 7 grand-children of which she adored, Connor, Archie, Nevaeh, Jacob, Rudy, Max and Emmy-Mae.
Mum also leaves behind 2 sisters Christine and Jill, Pre deceased by her sister Joan.
Mum also leaves her beloved cat George, who will sadly miss being treated like a king!
To celebrates mums life, Mums funeral will take place on the 30th of December 2016 at Blackwell church at 2pm, followed by a gathering at the villager pub south normanton.
If you would like to donate the chosen charity is Marie Curie Cancer Care and the link will be on this page, but flowers are most welcome.
