Yesterday we said goodbye to a cheeky, funny, say it how it is, fun loving guy. As someone who only had the pleasure of enjoying Mel's company through golf yesterday's funeral brought home how much he will be missed by so many people. For a guy who was small in stature, his wonderful personality and winning smile which we will no longer benefit from will leave a huge hole in so many people's lives, especially his family. Enjoy the 19th hole Mel which I think was always your best hole.

I know this is only pittance in the grand scheme of things but if it goes towards saving another great person's life, then I'm all for that.

Keep telling those tales up there, big little man. I'm sure you've got them all in stitches.

Rest in peace, Uncle Mel xx
