We shall remember Carolyn for her kindness and compassion and for her friendship with Mary for almost forty years. They could seem to talk for hours and shared a great sense of humour that would bring laughter to the dullest of days. Carolyn will be sorely missed.

I have known Carolyn since we were both 15 years old (many years ago) and we used to go with a group from the church youth club to listen to traditional jazz and then all walk home after midnight! She was a dear friend and although we moved to different parts of the country, we still kept in touch. She was always amusing, down to earth and like a matriarch to her family. She never lost that sparkle in her eyes and we'll all miss her. R.I.P. Carolyn. xxx

Nan was the most amazing woman. She was always there for me and always encouraged me to do what I loved. Nan brought a smile to the face of everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed by everyone. I was very close with her and it is so hard to see her leave us.
Love always.
Callum.
