In loving memory of Colin Brian Cox who sadly passed away on 12th November 2016

Loving and Devoted Husband, Best friend I was lucky to have 50 years with you on this side.

I do believe that God Above
Created you for me to Love
Picked you out from all the rest
Because he knew I loved you best

I had heart both loyal and True
But now its gone from me to you
Take care of it as I have done
For now you've got two and I have none

If I get to heaven before you're there
I'll write you're name on a golden stair
Then all the angels will know and see
Exactly what you mean to me

If your not there on Judgement Day
I'll know you've gone he other way
I'll give the angels back there wings
Their golden harps and other things
Then just to prove my love is true
I'll go to HELL darling just for you

11th of December1982, Colin's birthday and my wedding day, but COl was my best man. We had had my stag night at Colin's and woke worst for wear. I came out of the bathroom finding Colin in the lounge, standing in front of the mirror, wearing leopard underpants, shirt, socks and making sure he looked good. As I prepared myself, we were well late, Collin shouted, " Mag, where's my suit?"... Mag replied, " You took it to the cleaners at the start of the week"..... Well, panic set in, but eventually we set off for Bromley. Colin went via Old Hill, Chislehurst, but despite our urgency old habits die hard, so stopped outside the Imperial Arms. I thought we'd have to play a game of 301 before we could continue to my wedding. However, I did end up Marrying Trish and we are still together... Thanks Colin...

Colin was like a brother to me and a great friend to us both. I always enjoyed our 'coffee' at the Villagio with my "Bruv". He was a kind lovely man and enriched our lives, never complained and always saw the funny side of everything. "Sis" (Brenda) and Duncan Johnston

God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whisperd, "come with me."
With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us...
He only takes "the best".
Rest in perfect peace Grandad, you will be truly missed, such an amazing man I was so lucky to have you in my life, I love you always❤️
