In loving memory of Hilda Breedon who sadly passed away on 11th November 2016

David Britton wrote

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She had no equal,
And bore no comparison.
She was my Nan.
She is my Nan and will be forever more.

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She liked to frog-march unsuspecting grandchildren,
Through the streets of Bulwell at break-neck speeds.
She had to get to the Co-Op,
She had to get there yesterday.

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She was the master of the Bread Pudding,
Served by the slab on a Saturday morning.
She always made you feel welcome.
She always made her house our home.

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She rescued us from Grandad,
And his Santa catching plans.
She was always fair but firm.
She was always on our side.

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She watched us as we grew,
With a quiet sense of pride.
She never had an angry word.
She never took someone’s side.

My Nan was a kind, caring and loving person.
She had no equal,
And bore no comparison.
She was my Nan.
She is my Nan and will be forever more.

In Loving Memory to my Special Nan

On remembrance day this year
You're fight was lost, you're no longer here
My memories forever I will hold dear
So many tissues to wipe away a tear

You may not be by my side
Our emotions we found so hard to hide
These last few months have been a difficult ride
So many issues pushed aside

Those final days we put to rest
Your family close and at its best
Thoughts and feelings off our chest
So now at last you finally rest

So now its time to say goodbye
Not forever, its just for now
Until that day when time is nigh
We meet again, I know not how.

All my love now and forever
Tracy xxxx

Nan - Our Hero

You held our hand when we were small
You caught us when we fell
You're the hero of our childhood
and our later years as well

And every time we think of you
Our heart still fills with pride
Though we will always miss you Nan
We know you're by our side

In laughter and in sorrow
In sunshine and through the rain
We know you're watching over us
Until we meet again.

All our love now and forever
Tracy, Nick, Rebecca, Emily and Harry.
Xxxxx
