In loving memory of Valerie Mary Painter who sadly passed away on 9th November 2016
Mum was born in Doncaster 8th June 1932 the family moved to Lincolnshire when she was a young girl where her father started farming
Mum left school at 14 yrs and went to work on the family farm,her mother then took her to Louth to start a Nursing Cadetship at 16 years.
Then register nurse training at Louth County Hospital and became a senior nurse /sister at Alford Memorial Hospital.
She met and married Norman on 9th October 1954,they had two children Ian and Anne
They lived in the family home Sunnyside Alford until 2003.
Mum passed away peacefully at her sons home surround by her family on 9th November 2016
