Spreading Nan's love and kindness.

How wonderful to have lived a life of hugs & smiles. Surrounded by children, grandchildren & so many great grandchildren!
I feel blessed to carry your gorgeous red head genes; to have passed them on to my babies.
Oh how you squealed with delight to see the colour!

I love you Nan.

Thank you for the cucumber & salad cream sandwiches.
Thank you for introducing me to my first ever afternoon tea.
Thank you for letting me borrow your fur coat & making me feel like a glamourous lady like you.
Thank you for the clouds of body shop talc you'd leave around my room when you came to stay. A smell I remember still.
Thank you for those kind, kind smiley eyes. That beautiful smile. Those Nan hugs.

Thank you for always waving goodbye, right until the last second; always. You'd stand as far down the garden as you possibly could, waiting for the last glimpse of us as we went home.

Thank you for Nanny's little dickie birds.

As I tell my children... "wait for us under the big oak tree"... until then... night-night Nan.

In memory of my Auntie June a really lovely lady.

The kindest lady I’ve ever known
I’d like her to stay, but she’s got to go home.
I regret the time we didn’t spend together
But give it time, and we’ll have forever.
I’ll see her again on the last day
When every tear will be wiped away.

For today, she is in paradise,
For she believed in the Christ,
Who said, “Believe in me and live,
Though you die; you’ll pass from death to life.”
She believed when he said, “Those who come are never rejected.”
That’s why she rejoiced, “accepted, accepted, accepted.”

Could you take my Mother there.
Walk her slowly to your flower bed, pick her roses for all the words unsaid.
Kiss her gently on her soft cheek.
Carry her if her legs are weak.
Please tell her I'm OK down here,
Does she see me, can she hear.

I've heard Heaven has a garden, with angels singing on a cloudy bandstand.
Up in Heaven in that garden won't you take my Mother there by the hand.

She left me with memories made of gold.
Her gentle love was a wonder to behold.
Ask her to sing her favourite song, from way down here we'll sing along.

I've heard Heaven has a garden please take my Mother there.

We both send our deepest condolences. June is very much in our thoughts.

Kindess person l knew whom welcomed me into her family nearly 40 years ago - will be greatly missed but loved x

A very sad occassion for all, but i am sure that all thoughts will be only happy ones, which will reflect the great family life that June had and is still progressing.
