RIP my dear feisty, witty, beautiful, sweet cousin, though an ocean separated us and we were only together a handful of times, we had an immediate connection, we shared many laughs and cried at our goodbyes, but this goodbye is heart wrenching. I love you and will miss you forever!❤️?

Sad to not have got to say my goodbyes today, but auntie Helen will be always in my thoughts, makes me laugh when I remember her attitude and sarcasm!
So caring from when we were young, playing with us and feeding us so well to when we were older and had kids of our own.
Most of my memories are of Helen avoiding photos, ironic as Maria loves them so much!
I also rem how much she loved her dogs Reggie and Benjie and I loved going to see them.
Cannot believe you've gone but to a happier place I'm sure. x

Mummy Helen, what can I really say in words to describe how wonderful it was to have had you in my life. When I was young and we went on one of our many days out (devils dyke, Brighton) you would always offer to take me off of my mums hands so that my mum (Tania) would only have my brothers to look after (pain in the necks they were-especially Robert, who still is!) Anyway, I always remember feeling loved by you. You cared for me so well, as if I were your own. I don't remember things you said to me exactly, but I'll never forget the way you made me feel. Your warmth and your funny ways! Your kindness and caring nature. You were so mischievous at times, you were just so much fun!
I specifically remember Halloween one year when u dressed us all up in black bin bags! (I'm sure you'll remember this Maria) We were at your house in the living room. So many fun memories you brought to my childhood.
I loved u, and so did my brothers. My mum of course will miss u. U were a very dear friend to her. She always wanted to see you more. Occasionally we'd bump in to you (usually in Thornton Heath Tesco) and it was always a pleasure to see u, whatever the weather. Unfortunately we didn't see you as much, but as you know life gets busy.. and it's so fast...
You were taken from this world too soon. Im so sad you are gone.
Maria, your mum will never be forgotten, she will always be remembered as a wonderful woman. After we say goodbye today, know that we will all be here for you, should you need us.
RIP Little Helen, love from Odette (babykins) and family xxx

My Aunt Helen, we miss you and love you so very much, your smile, your jokes and your grumpiness. My very first memory that I have of you goes way back to when I was 3 years old. My mum had to stay in hospital for almost two weeks when she'd given birth to Gugs and I used to cry myself to sleep each night because she wasn't at home with me however you Aunt Helen would be there every morning with Maria, then a baby, making me my jam on toast and getting me ready for nursery school so that my dad could go to work. You would always comfort me on those mornings and do your best to cheer me up.
I remember a couple of years later, you, me, my mum and Gugs and Maria as toddlers, all sat on the sofa and all of us watching on the TV Princess Diana's and Prince Charles wedding and you and mum commenting on how beautiful her wedding dress was and how can I forget our memorable trip to Vermont when we all travelled together to see ' the American cousins,' when I was 17 years old.
So many happy memories, you will never be forgotten, I can't believe there will be another gap around our dinner table this Christmas.

I always remember the parties Helen used to throw for Maria's birthday .. we would all turn up in Bin liners & funny wigs as Halloween outfits & have the best time .. all the cousins used to have such a laugh around her & whenever I went to her house She would feed me to death .. I was only a child then so didn't think then but I look back now & realise what a hard but rewarding job she had bringing Maria up on her own she did a great job ... Maria the words you wrote about your mum ton Facebook were so touching & she was so well loved .. she will be missed greatly by so many people x

ummm , It's hard to actually put something here , I've known Mummy Helen for 20 years now and I suppose I can't describe 20 years of conversations because there have been far too many.
She looked after my two young ones in the canteen one day when I had a meeting and fed them, yeah she cussed at us, and we cussed back, but that was the beauty of a much loved woman,, and one I will fondly remember always ...RIP Helen xx

Most of my childhood is filled of memories of Helen. She always made me laugh with her sarcasm and quick wit! My favourite memory is when all the cousins were at Helen and Maria and Helen fainted (can't remember why! She liked to faint a lot?). As I'm certain everyone knows Helen was quite camera shy so of course we had to get a photo of her! Chris risked falling out the window as he balanced on the window ledge to get a good angle for the photo! I'll miss you Helen thank you for being you. ?

In 3 words. An absolute legend. I knew Helen all my life. Such an amazing personality. Always cheerful. I always remember the ear bashings she gave people in the staff canteen but with a smile.
