In loving memory of CAROL GRAVENOR
who passed away peacefully in Lincoln Hospital on 30th October 2016.
Carol, aged 68 years, of Great Carlton was a loving daughter, wife, mum, sister, grandma and aunty.
She will be sadly missed by Les, her husband and all her family and friends.
Carol...
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
(Gemma Grainger)
Carol was born in Lydbury North, she met Les her husband in 1965, and married in 1967, at Upton, Near Gainsborough, they spent 51 happy years together and only recently celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary in August and also enjoyed a fantastic Holiday in Rhodes together.
Carol was mum to Justin Gravenor (46), Sean Gravenor (44) and Emma-Jane Baxter (34), who gave her 5 Grandchildren, Melissa Gravenor (21), Chelsea Gravenor (20), Nathan Gravenor (18), Kylie Gravenor (13) and Elliot Baxter (10 Months) and also has her first Great Grandchild on the way, due in April 2017.
Carols mum lives in Australia as does her youngest brother Rodney, and her younger brother Irvine, who lives in Stratford.
Carol loved to help and its been clear that she has touched many peoples lives during hers, from her own family and friends, to the pupils she tutored and the children she cared for along the way.
Even while suffering from her ongoing illness, Carol always wanted to be with her family, enjoying time with friends, eating out, travelling the country to visit old friends, including those she reconnected with through Facebook!
She will be missed by many & remembered forever.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day...
Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved and still missed and very dear.
(Melissa Gravenor)
