Dear Grandad,

We cannot actually believe we are writing this letter to you. I guess we never thought what it might be like with you no longer here. You have always been such a key part in our lives we didn’t ever consider what it might be like with you no longer here & now that you are no longer with us we are struggling to accept it.

We feel incredibly blessed & proud that you was our Grandad & so thankful for all the memories you have created with us. Not many get a relationship with there Grandad as good as we had, but we had the best Grandad ever.

So many of our favouraite memories have you in them Grandad,
• The daily aggravating we used to put you through
• You taught all of us how to swim, every Sunday morning you’d pick us up & take us to the local baths.
• You would take us to Skegness to stay at the caravan that you bought because of us, you’d take us crabbing down the beach in a morning & let us rob you blind in the arcades HaHa!!
• You learnt us to speak Spanish from the cassette player in the Truck & also in the Rolls Royce when you took it on its monthly outing.

Theres too many memories to mention, but so many to be Thankful for.

As we flip through the pages of the photo albums you was there for every key part in our life…..Always Happy…..Always Laughing…..Always smiling…… That is how we will remember you.
You was the most Amazing Man, A devoted Husband, A deeply Loved & respected Father But most of all a Adored Grandad & Great Grandad.

Someday we will see your smiling face again but until then we will wrap mammar in the love & comfort you gave her, we will continue to look at photos & remember the amazing times we had with you. We will talk to you when we seek Guidance & look for you in nature when we miss you. We will keep your memory alive & never ever forget you.

You were the most amazing Grandad we could ever ask for, & boy do we love you, we love you so much.

Untill we meet again From you Forever Loving Grandchildren

Toni … Jodi… Joseph… Ella… & Jack. XxXxX

Denis - you always made me smile, usually at something silly, you always made time to talk and more especially to listen. You were a lovely man and so smart, in 20 years I never saw you without a tie ! I will miss you. Love Sue x
