In Loving Memory of Sylvia Ann Elkins who sadly passed away on the 27th October 2013 aged 70years.

Born in 1943 Dulwich Hospital, Southwark to Agnes & Albert Turner, the youngest of 4 children - bought up in Lambeth.

Married Michael Elkins who was sadly taken away from mum in 2000. A devestating shock to us all, especially Mum who had to rebuild her life without DAD. She would always say, "No man could ever replace your DAD?, he was a Diamond"

Mum had a special relationship with her Sister (Aunty Jean), they enjoyed many happy holidays, were always laughing and having a great time together, her Sister was a great support for her when MUM was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.

Two children, Mark and Jill - Married with children of their own (Mitchell, Taylor, Kellan, Tierney, Billy & Nancy), 6 grandchildren who have special fond memories of their years spent with their NAN.

Mum's special friend Joan for over 50 years - Always together, they spent many great times on holiday and were such good friends - Our Joan will be lost without her, but MUM will be shining down sending her strength.

A wonderful MUM, NAN, SISTER and FRIEND to many, she shall be missed by us all, but is now our ANGEL up above shining down on us giving us strength to go on. A truly inspirational lady who touched all our hearts in many ways.

Take the memories you have and smile, as our MUM will be shining down on you with her LOVE.

Rest now and join DAD - he's been waiting for you.

We all love you dearly MUM and will miss you immensley.

To our dear Sylv, I have known you for over thirty years. You have always welcomed me with open arms, your beautiful smile and lots of laughter. And as you know, you kept my mum laughing for many, many years. She always said "I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and caring friend" and she was right. You have been a shining light to so many and when we now look to the stars, we will see this beautiful shining light and can take comfort in knowing you are looking down on us. We are going to miss you so very, very much. Love always Sharon xxxxx

I only met Sylvie a few times, but those few times were filled with fun & laughter, she was an amazing lady, as is her daughter Jill, two peas in a pod.
She is now in a better place with her past loved ones, looking down on you all, until you meet again.
R.I.P. Sylvie. <3
