That was a lovely send off for our dear friend Guy and a great celebration of his 'beautiful and crazy life' ...how he would have enjoyed the Wake afterwards! I really treasure the times I'd meet-up with Guy for a few beers in various Bermondsey hostelries and we'd have a long chat....and more beers. If only I could remember what we talked about!! Happy days and 'What a Guy' indeed...and thank you to John, Kevin and Vicky for such moving and eloquent tributes.

I’d like to pay tribute to Guy’s qualities which you will all recognise. His warmth, humour and sense of fun and his intelligence drew everyone in. We will all miss him greatly – I do – and will never forget the person I and we loved and were always pleased to see. Thank you Guy xxx

In a few hours the last remains will be gone, but not our friendship that arose the moment we first met at the school where you taught me and my daughter in the 70s. This friendship will last for ever. You have influenced our lifes during all the years we met in London or in Vienna or with your letters and mails, your spirit will accompany us the days remaining.
