Howarth, Angela Maria

Passed away peacefully on 18th October 2016 aged 68 years.
Loving wife of Reverend Chris and loving Mum of Jeremy, Catherine and Rebecca. Treasured Grandma of Elliott and Angelo, Sarah, Luke and Chantal, Joseph, Orlando and Olivia.

Funeral to take place on Monday 7th November at Canley Cremtorium Cannon Hill Chapel at 1200 for family, attendants of St. Stephen's Church, and the Canley Community. A thanksgiving service will then take place at Coventry Cathedral at 3pm, to which all are welcome.

Angela will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her. In the spirit of Angela's giving heart she has chosen three charities for donations; The Myton Hospices and Macmillan Cancer Support via this page, or on the day of the funeral.

All welcome to return from 5pm to The Lime Tree, Templar Avenue.

I will always remember and be grateful for the warm welcome, the fun, laughter and food I and countless others received when meeting with Chris and Angela. Her Thanksgiving meals were awesome! She embodied the love and compassion of Jesus. I thank God for knowing Angela. God Bless you x

Angela was my best friend. What a privilege! Her death & peaceful journey to heaven, is our loss, but Heaven's astounding gain - the Angels (especially the chefs) are rejoicing in heaven at her arrival. Angela fought so hard from the time of her diagnosis to maintain 'normality' in her family & community & demonstrated courage & determination to live each day to the full & in her own words "for her identity not to be defined by the cancer" but by her love of Jesus & his people in her community. Angela welcomed everyone by her smile, hugs and huge Italian American hospitality :-)

I love her so much and miss her already but I know she will be having a glass of heavenly plonk with the Angels as she helps them prepare the banquet so I know that I can't begrudge her that next chapter in her life:- no warfarin, pain, prejudice, illness, Brexit or poverty.

They lost the mould when Angela was born and I for one will never forget her.
