Jean Jones (23 Feb 1934 - 17 Oct 2016)

In loving memory of Jean Jones who sadly passed away on 17th October 2016, aged 82 years.
Goodbye Jean, a force in my life, how will I ever manage without you. You were, are and always will be one in a million. Sleep well my love, yours always Brian.

We met at Christmas in 1953 and were married 3rd April 1954. After meeting at a dance, the second meeting may never have happened if it were not for a friend's partner insisting she was not going to be the only girl at a party we were planning on going to. I said I knew of two more girls who may like to come with us and that was it....I met Jean and the rest as they say is history.

Our life together saw us live in 104 different homes spread across 5 countries, We have made friends from all over the world, many of whom we have known for decades. Jean loved the sun, over the past twenty years we have had countless holidays in Spain and the Yaramar Hotel in Fuengirola became a second home.

Jean was an amazing cook and will be remembered for her cooked breakfasts, spaghetti Bolognese, Yorkshire pudding, chocolate cake, scufflers and egg and chips to name just a few.

We have a large family and Jean played a piviot role in the lives of many of our grandchildren as well as our children. The love and feelings that flow throughout us all at this time are so closely tied together through Jean , she was our family's centre stone.

Lots of the cards we have received say Jean was someone special, and she really was..... you are irreplaceable Jean and you will continue to live in our hearts forever. xxxxxxx
