Leigh Wood nee Chapman (10 Oct 1956 - 10 Oct 2016)

In loving memory of Leigh Wood who sadly passed away on 10th October 2016.

At Mums request, we will be holding an intimate funeral ceremony.

However, she also wanted her day to be a celebration of her life and not an occasion of mourning. To this end, we would like to invite all those who knew Mum to join us from 2:30pm at The George, Heaver Court Road, Gravesend, DA12 5QU.

We will have use of the room to the rear of the venue which can be easily accessed from the car park.

In her wishes, she has expressly requested that no black is to be worn and that everybody wear an item of red as this was her favourite colour.

We welcome flowers but also we think Mum would like a donation to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal (http://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/christmas-present-appeal) which provides christmas gifts to underprivileged children. She loved children and always put herself out to help others.
