In loving memory of Peter Finch who sadly passed away on 29th September 2016

We have asked for donations rather than flowers.  Donations will be going to the Countess Mountbatten Hospice in West End, they surpassed my expectations and not only looked after Pete with care and compassion, but also myself and the family. Thank you. Mel.

I wish to pass on my deepest condolences after hearing the saddest news of Peter's passing. Peter was a dear friend many years ago when we worked as students in Sainsbury's - cheeky and lovable and loved by my whole family the Curlings.
Rest in peace dear Peter xx Jenny

We all miss you Pete. It will never be the same in the dataprep office and it makes no sense that you're gone. I fondly remember those years working with you in genesis at west drayton back in the 90s. How did we get any work done? Most of the time was spent in tears of laughter. I miss having someone to reminisce about 70s football with. We miss the random Bowie and Jagger impressions. No one else in the office ever bursts in to song with bits of ziggy stardust or the laughing gnome!

We remember Peter with much love. He was our best man when David, his uncle, and I married in 1992 and Peter gave a very funny speech. Not surprising, as he was always making people laugh! I attended the funeral with Gareth, Peter's cousin. It was a privilege to have been at the funeral with so many people whose lives were all enriched by knowing Peter. We send our sincere condolences to Mel, Marguerite, Ron, Sue and all the family. May Peter rest in peace and rise in glory.

Pete, I will remember fondly your football anecdotes over mugs of tea during breaks at work.
I will remember you as a very genuine and friendly person who would always take the time to speak to everyone.
I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have worked with you on projects when neither of us were entirely sure what we were doing! There was always good banter working with you. R.I.P mate

Well Finchy, I only wish I'd shouted even more abuse at you in the corridors of incompetence we frequented. The Northern Soul legend has rolled up his lino, twisted his talc closed and shuffled off the floor. Linda Lyndell as your theme tune: What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man - and repeat until the cows come home. Making you laugh was an everyday triumph you generous-hearted diamond.
