Such a larger than life character. We so miss Rogers kindness and his cheerful banter. He was always supportive and kind to me (Brenda).

Family Brockbank donated £40 in memory of Roger

You were a big part of our extended family. You helped mould Sue and Pauls sons into the men they are today. You also guided your son into the strong young man he is now and pointed him in the right direction for his future. You will be greatly missed by the family; but also greatly missed by all the people that knew you outside of the family.

Sue Haywood donated £160 in memory of Roger

I was with Roger for 26 years and 16 years ago he developed tachycardia and was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital. Roger was under Dr Gill and the pacing clinic since that time and was on his fourth ICD (defibrillator). Sadly in August Roger died of heart failure whilst on holiday in Sweden. However as a family we are grateful for the last 16 years we had with Roger and this is why we are asking people to donate towards the work of the cardiology department at St Thomas' Hospital. This first donation is from myself, Roger's son Matt Haywood and the rest of us who were with Roger in Sweden; Richard Brockbank (stepson), his wife Lizzy and their son, our grandson Christopher, Michael Brockbank (stepson) and his fiancée Tracy.
