Orinthia Neilson (4 Oct 1933 - 9 Sep 2016)

In loving memory of Orinthia Neilson who sadly passed away on 9th September 2016, born on the island of Jamaica. Stormy, as she was known in Jamaica, loved to dance and won numerous dance competitions with her late husband. Orinthia left her island home for London and attended nursing school becoming a general nurse and later a psychiatric nurse and counselor. Rinthy, as she was affectionately called here in London fostered a number of young girls in crisis and continued to give her support to them in their young adult life's.
Rinthy lived in America for a few years working as a private nurse with the Al' Shibib family. On her frequent vacations to America she would always include a visit to Las Vegas, she loved the sounds of the slot machines. She spent many happy times there as well as joyful times in Dubai with her daughter Heather and grand children. She loved to laugh, adored Johnny Mathis and sipping champagne.
Orinthia was in the arms of her loving daughter Heather when she transitioned to her new life. We will miss her dearly. She has left us with her daughters Heather Neilson-Bonini and Christine Neilson, her grand-children Hannah and Matteo Bonini, her partner of many years Geoff Willis, son in law Luigi Bonini and daughter in law Barbara Carrington.
