Hi Mum,
Long time no speak. Me and Dawn got married on 23rd December 2016 and it kind of ended a very sad year on a high note. There was of course a gaping hole in the guest list and I do not know what you would have made of the marquee that we held the reception that was swinging in the storm that came to visit us during the day. The day went well and I think everybody apart from the veggies enjoyed their pie, mushy peas and gravy x 2 for the majority.
As my Sister says we are trying to look after Dad as well as we can with our jobs and personal life and try to adjust him to life without you and he is very lonely. We have got him a passport and he is coming away with me, Dawn and her Dad to Belgium and Teresa and Gary are taking away in the Summer also for a few days. He is enjoying his snooker and is on a lucky winning streak at Bingo and sticky Bingo. That's all for now Mum apart from to say that I am on a weight loss project and it is going well. Will keep you posted.

I miss you Mum more than ever thought I could. Hope you are happier and in a better place than you were. Until we meet again, I can't grieve for you and I don't know why because there is a hole in my heart. Maybe one day you will sit on my shoulder and tell me what to do.
