Brenda May Cobb (11 Sep 1922 - 31 Aug 2016)

In loving memory of Brenda May Cobb who sadly passed away on 31st August 2016. Brenda was a loving mother to Michael. She was oldest of five children, Maureen and Howard, who still survive and her brothers Clive and Jim who sadly have passed away. Brenda was a widow, her husband Leslie also passed away on 26th December 1997 also aged 93. Brenda and Leslie lived a full and varied life, spent 13 years living in Malta, lived on a boat for 2 years. Brenda and Leslie moved to Horncastle in 1977 and loved the community, both taking up roles in their respective fields, Brenda as a legal secretary at Chatterton's in Horncastle and Les running a light engineering company where he worked closely with the local farming community. Brenda was always full of life and willing to get involved in local activities, she was a warden at her beloved Langton church and an active member of Lincolnshire carers, where she made some great and long lasting friendships. Brenda had always wanted to live at home as long as possible, in May when she was no longer able to cope on her own, her family moved her to Nightingale Residential Care home in Bucknall, where she was loved and very happy and lived there until she passed away.
