Keiren Edney (20 May 1995 - 13 Sep 2016)

This donation and message is left on behalf of Chippenham Referees Association many of whose members would have officiated Calne Eagles and matches involving 'Ned'. We would like to express our sincere condolences to his family, friends, playing colleagues and the wider community that he so obviously touched. Whilst we may not have known Ned personally it is obvious from reading all the tributes and from what we have heard that he is a sad loss to the local football community. Rest in peace.

Keiren, you were a very special young man - a thoroughly decent human being whom we have been blessed to have known. When Ralph finally found his confidence at the end of last season and started to play really well, other parent's were asking us what we had done................but of course it wasn't us - it was you. He didn't know he could do it, but you did!! That's what made you so very special. Thank you x

You'll always be in my heart Ned, you did everything for me and gave me a chance when no one else would. I'll always appreciate everything you did for me and I promise you I will make you proud, you were the most decent man I knew and the 6 years I spent with you were the best and I couldn't of asked for anything better, I love you keiren sleep peacefully?

Kieren, it was an absolute pleasure to have known you. For 6 years you played a significant role in our lives and a central role for Isaac who looked up to you as a manager and a friend and who worked so hard to make you proud. He knows you were proud...you told him! You always had time for all of us and went the extra mile to help when you could. Thank you. You were a very special young man who leaves his mark on us all. I promise we will never forget...we loved you Kieren, sleep tight. xxxx
