Dear family and friends,I am writing this letter in remembrance of my sister Susan Carol Mitchell [Carol Susan Mitchell] I spoke to Sue a few days before she became ill and had to go into hospital, She was her usually cheerful and chatty self. When Sue got her compute it was great, because then we could chat for hours on Skype, which we did about once a week sometimes more. We talked about our childhood and family and kids we went to school with. I have put some photos of Sue and me and Mum and Dad , and a photo of the 1953 Coronation that shows all the kids that lived in our flats Hunstanton House Cosway Street NW1, we were never short of playmates. In the 1953 photo Sue is sitting on the front row with the crown on and I`m sitting behind her with the chocolate around my mouth. When we were kids we wonder all over London, Sue and I walked to Regents Park, play in the swing park and sandpit then walk to the Zoo and look at the wolf enclosure. On Saturday Mornings a lot of us went to Saturday Pictures boo at the baddies and laugh at the funnies . In the Summer Holidays if Mum had time she take Vera Law ,Sue's best mate and me for a picnic to the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens , we would take our fishing nets with us to catch some tiddlers.I miss Sue more then I can say, a part of my history has gone and taken my Sister with it. But I still have my memories and photo's and remember the ups and downs of family life .I;ll sign off like Sue and I did . TTFN Maria.
