In loving memory Peter Young, 58 , South Normanton, Derbyshire who sadly passed away on 21st July 2014 at 9.05pm

The service will take place at 3.30pm, Tuesday, August 5th at Mansfield Crematorium

We will be holding the funeral wake at Castlewood, South Normanton after the funeral services has taken place.

Peter was born September 25, 1955 in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire to Charles and Elise Young.
He was the youngest of 3 brothers, Alan and Bryan Young being the others.
He was spoiled by his Mum and could not do anything wrong in her eyes, he also looked up to his brothers Alan and Bryan.

Ever since leaving school he was a lovable rouge, always in and out of trouble, but always in work and worked hard for what he loved.
He had worked at Tarmac Topblock, working all hours. and more recently worked at Brewers Fayre, Castlewood for past 15 years.

When he wasn't working hard, he use to enjoy cooking, walking, going into the fields, shooting with dogs, loved growing his own produce, he also loved going to his local pubs.
When he was younger he use to go the Dog and Doublet in Pye Bridge and be known as "Pop" Young, But more recently he enjoyed going to Castlewood, as he enjoyed drinking with both his mates and family there.

He has always loved his bikes since an early age and never really been off them, his dream was to ride a Harley Davidson one day, And I believed he enjoyed going to the bike events such as "Race of the Year" at Mallory Park in 1975/76

Dad was a simple, uncomplicated family man, He loved his routines, He loved his music such as Queen, Gary Glitter, 70's and made sure everyone heard what he liked by playing it Full Volume.
He loved his family, loved being with them and would do anything for them.
He loved being a godparent to his nieces Daughter Jude, and more recently he really enjoyed becoming a Grandad to his sons children Scarlett and Kaelon, he absolutely couldn't do enough for.

He is going to be missed by a lot of people who thought the world of him, as he was certainly a character and lovable rouge, he certainly got into the hearts of people at the John Eastwood Hospice, I think as much as he loved being there, all of them loved him being there. Never a dull moment.

He is going to be missed by everyone that had the chance to get to them him, but no more that his family.

In loving memory of the late Peter Young who sadly passed away on 21st July 2014 at 9.05pm

Feel no guilt in laughter, he'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever ;he would not want you to.
He'd hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you,a word someone may say. Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day.
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here, and fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart, And he will live forever locked safely within your heart. XX
