Barry Martin Stanley Ayres Howe (29 May 1946 - 17 Aug 2016)

In loving memory of Barry Martin Stanley Ayres Howe who sadly passed away on 17th August 2016

For 13 months a palliative nurse from the Wisdom Hospice helped Barry manage his pain. Her name is Louise and he developed a relationship of trust and friendship with her. She helped Barry enormously facing decisions and finding peace within himself. Thank you Louise for being there for Barry.

In the short time that Barry was in The Wisdom Hospice, he was given such excellent care.

Donations in lieu of flowers for the 'Friends of the Wisdom Hospice' may be given on the day to the John Weir funeral director, made on- line on this page, or posted to John Weir 25 New Road Chatham Kent ME4 4QJ.

The family invites all those attending the funeral to light refreshments at the Bridgewood Manor Hotel Walderslade Woods Chatham Kent ME5 9AX.

Colours
When I last said "Goodbye" with love
His face was a rosy red
He was laying on the white of whitest sheets
Which looked like fluffy white clouds
The sky was azure, blue almost mauve
When I put these colours together
It reminded me of our last outing to the Lavender fields
The blooms all weaving together pink, white and blue.

Barry was colour blind, but you would never of known
All the colours he couldn't see,
are in his lovely garden
How strange is that?
Goodnight dear brother I'll see you soon
but not too soon
