So sad the passing of my old comrade you taught me a lot about realpolitik and I will always remember your dedication to the cause RIP Daly O'Dalaigh

Rip uncle Daly so sad that my annual trip to Scotland had to include this sad time.You will be sorely missed on each visit but I know that each day that passes a wider smile appears on my face remembering the stories you told me,your knowledge,wisdom and hospitality will never be forgotten RIP Uncle Daly.

I'm so sorry you have lost your father. I never got to meet him but heard so many great stories about what a great man he was. It's never easy saying goodbye but know that he is with God now and all his pain and suffering is over. He can smoke, drink and dance in heaven with the rest of the angels. Daly was good man, put me right many a time, door was always open, listned to my rants and rage, his good council stopt me causing damage to my self and others, helpt me write and think better thoughts wi a logic that never leaves you once found, kind and considerat always. RIP Good friend.

So sorry that the Angels have took you. Earth has lost a gem but heaven has gained a loving Angel. Wish I new you better uncle Daly such an inspiration to others much love nonnie xxx sorry I can't make your goodbye as my granddaughter is due but I'll be thinking of you and the family love you xxxxxxxx
