Dear Uncle Dennis
I am just realising how much I am going to miss our weekly chats, your words of wisdom - you always hit the nail on the head - and of course gardening tips and advice. I will miss you "big time" Uncle D.
Your niece X

Dennis and I met on Monday mornings for two hours over several large mugs of tea ( 17 years in total)
only missing our get together if one of us were ill or on holiday.
We PUT the world to rights and pulled governments to pieces. Dennis finally got me to call it "THE PLAYINGFIELD and not the park ha ! ha!.
We will miss you old friend!!
God BlessX

I was introduced to Dennis over three years ago to do his reflexology treatments for him. I saw him on a regular basis and called him my 'adopted granddad'. He was kind man who always spent time to pray for people he cared about. I will miss his stories and wise words to me! I sent him postcards of all my travels and kept in contact while I've been living in Australia. My parents will be there to say goodbye as they were very fond of him too.

We were neighbours of Dennis for 25 years until we moved to the Isle of Wight last year. Dennis was a real gentleman and a character who will be sadly missed by all our family. May you rest in peace, Dennis.

Dennis took a shine to me when he was a patient of mine, I took a shine to him too. A lovely gentleman who took the time to think and pray for others. He was one of the best patients, may he rest in peace.
Unfortunately I'm unable to make the service, but I will be thinking of him.

Dennis will always be remembered by his friends and the people of Hempstead. A kindly soul who stuck by his convictions and was never too busy for a chat, generous to a degree and often very outspoken, he has left his mark here and will be sorely missed. R.I.P dear old friend.
