A collage of photos of Lieke Kershaw-Lit. These are from when she was a child in the Dutch East Indies, with her parents and her sisters. She was the middle child of three sisters, Kitty, Lieke and Hetty.

Dear Family,

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your mum and nan, our auntie Lieke.
I’m very glad that I have had the chance to meet her last summer, for the first time.
She responded to quite a lot what we said and also to the old photos that we showed her. It was wonderful and lovely to see my mum's sister and lovely be able to talk to her. She understood everything I asked her in Dutch, though she mustn't have heard any Dutch in decades, and replied immediately to that. It was a wonderful afternoon!
Our hearts go out to you, thinking of you all!

Love,
Tineke & Henny
