In loving memory of John Henry Gillett who sadly passed away at Kingsmill Hospital on 12th July 2016 aged 92. Dad had a full and happy life married to Mum Margaret Eileen for over 70 years. He worked underground at Langwith and Shirebrook Collieries for most of his working life, retiring in his late fifties . For the last 3 years due to his Dementia Dad was in Richmond Care home and we would like to thank all the staff who kindly looked after him throughout this time. In his youth Dad was a member of the St Johns ambulance band and for many years Dad & Mum spent many happy hours organizing and participating in ballroom dancing. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Dad has requested that he be cremated and this as been arranged for 1 pm on Wednesday the 3rd of August at Mansfield crematorium, refreshments will be held at the Gate Hotel Langwith for 2:15 pm
