Brian Charles Ray (Passed away 16 Jul 2016)

In loving memory of Brian Charles Ray who sadly passed away on 16th July 2016. Brian lefaves behind his wife Hazel and daughter Helena. Brian was born in Redhill on 5 June 1935. He moved to the North East in the 70's before moving back down South in the 80's. Hazel and Brian made Wandsworth their home and were happy there. When Hazel became ill with Alzheimer's, Brian cared for her until it was simply too much. When she went to live in a nursing home, Brian visited every day. He was devoted to her. Eventually Brian too fell victim to ill health and developed vascular dementia. He moved over to Coulsdon to be closer to Helena and Hazel moved over as well. Brian was looked after well at Abbey Lodge until the beginning of June when he was able to be reunited with Hazel at Woodlands. Unfortunately this coincided with his health taking a downturn and him being admitted into hospital. Brian loved the gee gee's, a beer and flirting with the ladies but he was a good father and loved Hazel dearly.
