Hi jay.

It’s been a while since I last wrote anything to you. I want you to know that I forever miss you, and I will never forget about you. I can’t believe it’s almost been 6 years since you left us now… it’s crazy how time flies by and doesn’t stop for anyone. I wish you were physically here on earth with us, so much has happened and so much has changed over the last 6 years jay. If you’re up there looking down at us then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Mom is finally going to be a nan! You would’ve been the best great uncle jay. You were truly one of a kind, they’ll never be an uncle as great as the one you were. I miss your humour. I miss how much of an amazing brother you were to my mom. As I’ve gotten older, I realised how much you were there for my mom. You were her rock, her big brother. The best big brother. I know you’re proud of the woman she is jay, like Im proud of her. I wish she could still pick up the phone and call or text you. Since the day you left us, you took a huge piece of her with you. She misses you, so much. She will always miss you. And I wish you could visit her and give her a big hug and tell her everything she worries about will be alright.

I hope you’re flying high up there jay. You will forever be the brightest star in the sky. Life really is so short, you never know what’s around the corner do you. Im thankful for the short memories we got to make together, and im thankful for the short time I got to spend getting to know you.

Hello my favourite uncle ❤️ I hope your doing okay up there jay. We miss you loads down here, forever and always but I know you already know that! I know you’re with mom, looking after your little sister like the best big brother you always were. Mom is worrying a lot at the moment, I know you’ll already know what I’m talking about. I wish we could pick up the phone and call you and have you tell her that it’s all going to be okay like you would but we can’t. I know it was you that played the song “ every little thing is gonna be alright” twice the other day. Me and mom both heard it and you’ll remember me telling her “ that’s Jason that is mom” and the look on her face already told me that she knew it was you. It really choked me up jay. It was the reassurance that we needed, especially mom. Please let everything be okay jay, please keep her safe. If you can please show us another sign that your there with her, so she knows she’s got you looking after her. You are our angel jay. With you up there I know you’ll keep us down here safe. I know we need to stop worrying but it’s hard sometimes. And you know what my moms like, she is the biggest worrier that there is.

Nan has got Facebook now hahah! She loves it jay, she’s on her phone more than us all! And I think I've got her addicted to tombola 🙈😂 shes forever playing it now! Nan talks about you more than she ever could before jay, she tells me stories of all the pranks you pulled on grandad when you were growing up. I know her heart will always be broken without you jay. You were her first baby ( the most beautiful and perfect baby as she says). I can’t imagine the pain nan must feel to lose her baby, and mom to lose her big brother. I know it can’t have been easy for you to leave jay, you were so strong. You get that from nan, she’s like a soldier isn’t she! Please give mom some of your strength jay❤️ Keep looking down on us all. I’ll never forget you. You were the best uncle I could have ever asked for, and the best son to nan and grandad and the best big brother to your little sister. I’m so thankful to have been able to call you my uncle. Hello stranger, it’s been a while hasn’t it jay. I hope you’re doing okay up there, I bet they all love you and your jokes. I miss them, and i know mom, nan, and grandad does too. Nan spoke about you the other week, which broke my heart because nan is so mute when your name is mentioned, I know her heart will forever be broken from missing you J. Nan told me you came to visit her, and was playing her up making her think grandad hadn’t tidied the pillows but it was you resting on them. I know you know what I’m talking about don’t you haha, I know your presence reassures and comforts nan so much. Please keep being her guardian angel J, and don’t get thinking you can steal her from us anytime soon okay. I hope I’m making you proud, I’m nearly qualified now J, and it was around this time 3 years ago that I came with mom after my interview stressing that I wouldn’t get in. It’s been so tough but I know you’ve helped me get through it, if only you could be there standing with mom at my graduation. That was silly of me to say because of course you’re going to be there though i won’t be able to see you. I love you so much and I miss you so much more, I still can’t believe you’re gone, life without you is so much different now. It’ll never get easier. Keep flying high up there!
