The West Nottingham Chess Club donated £75 in memory of Paul

Loved and remembered by all of our members. Paul joined us in 1984 and also became club treasurer before giving more time to his family. The club increased its members and moved to a new location hence changing it's name to West Nottingham Chess Club and we had the honour of Paul's company as he liked the friendliness within our club when he re-joined us in 2007. People of Paul's nature and ability are very hard to find as he was an excellent player with a preference for
the closed game and some of his games can be found on chess base. He also contributed as a committee member. The loss of Paul has come as a great shock to us all and we have been so saddened that as a mark of respect we have closed the club till September when the new chess season begins. We send all our condolences to his wife Jaine and their children.
