In loving memory of Ben Holmes who sadly passed away at the end of June 2016.

Much loved son, brother and friend.

Will be missed greatly, but left us with enough funny stories to last a lifetime.

Please wear whatever you please, bright colours welcome.

Please no flowers. A donation to the charity on the right would be welcomed.

After the ceremony we will be heading to the Larch Farm Pub in Ravenshead (Sat Nav NG15 9HA). All are welcome to join us.

Sadly I have just heard of Ben's passing. He was a contact of mine at HES and I was a supplier. I'm shocked and saddened. We always had a giggle on the phone or when we met, and it was a blow when he left, I'm sure he's more than sadly missed. RIP Ben.

Dear Ben, it was an honour to know you. The one memory I will always carry with me is when I was trying to print off some paperwork for you. I was mortified that in front of the tech genius I couldn't get my printer to work!!! It made me feel slightly better when you couldn't fix it either!!!!! Rest in peace, you will be missed.

Dear Ben,

Most of my memories of you are from when we were younger – all the family parties we had at your mum and dad’s house and arguments over who had the biggest portion of cheesecake, the rowdiness when playing family games on Christmas Eve, watching TV and eating crisps at Granny and Grandad’s on Friday afternoons, you winding up Dandy in the caravan when your mum and dad were building the new house at Ravenshead, me desperately wanting the newest Spice Girl book and you telling my mum Baby Spice swore in it so I never did get a copy, you helping me download mp3s for my first ever mp3 player, and not forgetting enjoying your hand-me-downs (My Little Pony were my favourite).

You leave a huge void in the family – you always did brighten up any family gathering and were always there to help when any of us needed it. We will never forget you and promise to raise a glass to you when we’re next all together. Thanks for looking out for us.

Love always, Beth xxx

Dearest Benjamino

Thank you for all of the crazy times we shared – sunny days in Ibiza, stressful days (and nights) in the office, we laughed (a lot) through them all.

I will miss your sweet nature, boundless energy, cheeky smile, technical genius and, of course, the random duck pictures that you would regularly send me.

Although you were quite impossible to manage (with your emotional outbursts and refusal to adhere to any policy you didn’t agree with), you were brilliant at your job and, more importantly, a very treasured friend that brightened up the lives of so many people.

Sleep peacefully. x

We knew Ben from a baby and he never lost his smile.
Also worked with ban at caunton Engineering where he did wonderful things with computers which were a complete mystery to us. He was still problem solving for us at home last year.
Great Guy and a Tragic loss to us all.

That infectious smile that made us realise that you can always have fun along the way in whatever you were doing. feeling annoyed at my IT equipment I went to Ben to complain, he pulled a Nerf gun out and fired it at me.. And we both burst into laughter!
