Trudy Harpham in Switzerland writes: I am sorry I won't be able to join you in remembering my dear school mate Jenny. You will be with me in my thoughts and I send all her family love. I will always remember Jen's big smile, smooth dance moves, strong ideals, love of her family, pride of her region, and most of all, her humanity. The world has lost one of its bright lights. Far too soon. xxx

Jen was one of my dearest schoolfriends Though in touch intermittently, we had re-established regular contact over the past couple of years. That joy was suddenly stripped away. Jenny was the most sincere person I know. I will always remember her for her strong ideals, her sense of social justice and her passion for family. Oh, and her love of football! We were 1970's fans of Liverpool and Leeds Utd. Jen, you'll be very pleased to hear I married a fellow Liverpool fan. Don't think I ever told you that....The world is a lesser place xxxxx
