"Ello luv!"....these two words followed by a huge smile and sloppy kiss on the cheek always indicated that Ivy had arrived in a room and soon enough that room became a party....So many fond memories and laughs...from the look on her face when she realised who was doing the 'whacking' in 'Whacko' and then hitching up her skirt to Straddle the River at many a party in Grosvenor Road!

Well we are sure that the skirt was soon up again and legs kicking in the air upon arrival at her latest party...no doubt they'd have heard the "Ello luv" too and the party will still be going as a result!

Goodbye Ivy, until we party again xx

My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all the family on the pass of Ivy or as I always referred to her as "Nan".

You were not my nan but I respected you too much to call you by your first name and Mrs Prentice seemed to formal, so it was my term of endearment.

"Nan" a tiny lady with a big personality, great sense of humour and always the life and soul of the party. I Will miss asking after you and hearing all the stories from Julie, your jolly voice on the phone from time to time and of course all the lovely cakes your baked and sent with Julie to work, especially your apple pie. Which I could never resist even during lent it was my one and only weakness :).

Will always be remembered with fond memories
