In loving memory of Jane Susan Scall who sadly passed away on 18th June 2016.
Janie lived her life with a smile on her face, warmth in her heart and tenderness in her touch. She was pleasant understanding and always put others first. She was intuitive to peoples needs and had an uncanny knack of seeing the best in everyone. She was naturally shy and never knowingly made others uncomfortable. Her shyness and charm were qualities that added to the attraction of this wonderful lady. She had a steely resolve which her children have embedded in their spirit and she fought the good fight to make sure her family were never down trodden.This grit and determination served us well in our early years of marriage when the complex nature of Laura's learning disability became apparent. Never once taking a backward step she brought up two wonderful children who she adored beyond words. Ben met Jenny then along came Finley. Janie was smitten all over again by her wonderful grandson. Shortly before she died she asked to make sure Finley will not forget her. I made her that promise.

I only had good fortune to have known Janie for about 6 years. She was a lovely lady who shone with her own sincere light. In her eyes was love for her children, husband Steve, grandson and daughter in law. She was a pleasure to have known and a woman I will always remember xxx

My friend, my soulmate for 55 years. Beautiful inside and out, we never ever had a cross word . Loyal and true she was a loving, thoughtful and supportive daughter, wife, mum, nana and friend. The world is now a sadder place without her. So many memories to be cherished forever. I still speak to her everyday and always will. Barbie xxx
