In loving memory of Margaret Whitehead who sadly passed away on 23rd June 2016 after a short illness. Margaret was married to Jim for 54 years. During their long and happy marriage they underwent many moves in the course of Jim's business career including residence in Scotland and latterly 8 years in Belgium.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her many friends and family, her daughter Sarah and Richard and grandchildren Harry, Toby, Robert and Eliza. On retirement Margaret was a keen member of Stoneleigh Golf Club and a member of the Ladies Committee.

After the funeral there will be a reception at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club, Coventry Road, Stoneleigh, CV8 3DR. All her friends are very welcome.

I met Margaret playing golf and what an enthusiastic player she was, supporting the club in so many of their matches. When I was not well she was 'there', so understanding and kind. Rest in Peace. Our condolences to Jim and the family.

A great shock and a big loss of a diminutive, feisty lady. She will be sorely missed. Rest in peace and keep the wine chilled, we’ll all be with you again someday. Sincere condolences. Robert & Peter Scott.

Margaret was a true friend of mine when I was a member at Stoneleigh. She was warm, helpful, encouraging towards me. We got on so well and I loved her "nagging" which reminded me of my mum in China. I almost couldn't "get rid of "her as my partner in many competitions. It was a shocking news that she left us as in my mind she was so fit and was on the course every day. I will miss her deeply.
