In loving memory of Sean Patrick Woodside who sadly passed away on the 8th of June 2016.
There will be a paying of respects at Anderson Maguire Funeral Home, 1083 Shettleston Rd, G32 7PE, on Wednesday the 15th of June between 2pm and 4pm.
There will be a reception and vigil of Sean's earthly remains into St Clare's RC Church, 18 Drumlanrig Avenue, Easterhouse, G34 0JA, on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm (The Funeral Procession will leave from Drumlanrig Avenue/Glengyre Street at approximately 6:15pm).
The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday the 16th of June at 9.30am, thereafter to St. Peter's cemetery, 1900 London Road, G32 8RW.
Friends and family are then cordially invited to join us at The Celtic Supporters Club, 1524 London Road, G31 4QA.
**Please note. The family request that there be no floral tributes, but would welcome all donations to the Marie Curie Hospice whose volunteers will be in attendance at the Funeral Mass.
To the family of Sean, yesterday I watched my grandson play a football match at Estover Road Sports Playing Field. It took me back to when Sean and my son Ross Anderson played football together. They were friends at All Saints School in March. I have photographs of them in my garden. My son Ross died in a road traffic accident in 2011. I like to think that they are together now. Both taken from their families too soon. My heart is broken.
Sean you entered our lives bringing sunshine to my daughters world. She was uplifted through your presence and it was a joy for us as parents when you asked for her hand.
Now as you leave us it is all too apparent the chasm of emptiness in our hearts.
Life can be cruel they say but the loss of you at such an age is the cruellest of all.

Sean you were the strongest person I've ever known. Nothing seemed to get you down and all you wanted to do was get on with enjoying the time you had. You are and always will be an inspiration. Love you mate, rest easy xxx
Sean you are the definition of a hero - an ordinary individual who has the strength to persevere and endure in the face of overwhelming obstacles! I've never known someone so incredibly strong and positive as Sean. He is an absolute inspiration, how he managed to keep so strong at such hard times; what a fighter. Such a pleasure to know Sean.

God bless you Sean, you are my hero. An example to everyone on how to deal with hardships, just wish you hadn't had so many. My children adored you and you have made me the proudest big brother alive with what you've done here on earth. We will treasure our memories of you forever, with a smile.
