Thank you to everyone who came to mums funeral yesterday and for those who couldn't, I know you were all thinking of her..
She is now at peace and on Friday your wish will be granted when we scatter your ashes alongside your lifelong love our dad George. I know you're not alone anymore, you're now with your best friend Val and all your family.
As your pain has ended, ours has just begun. Rest in peace now Mum God bless xxxx

Andrea, I know words can't make you feel any better at this sad time but I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be able to get in contact with so many of my cousins and family. All of us in Australia are thinking of you xo.

A poem for Mum:

I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me, for now I am free,
I am following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ha, yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savoured much, good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now,
HE SET ME FREE.
