In loving memory of Lorna Irvine who sadly passed away on 26th May 2016

I think our dear Mum would say don't be sad but be glad for the life I had.
I could write a book about Mum's life as it was so full in all the places she lived both in the uk and America.
Her talents were many and she was accomplished at all of them specially always having a magnificent garden.
I am so pleased Mum that we had lots of times together since you moved to live just five minutes away from us 17 years ago.
The best advice Mum ever gave to David & I was to follow good examples.
You were our good example Mum. Rest in peace with Dad. We love you.

A poem written by her brother-in-law, Eddie Irvine

JOURNEY'S END

O let me not to the tomb thus come,
Frenzied, fearful, confused and dumb.
But that blest Angel, thou didst give
when I, a mortal began to live.
To be my guide and surety,
be thou especially near to me.

And bid my trembling spirit rest,
in Him, our God made manifest.
Whose path of love unto the grave
was filled with grace to heal and save.
And with that loud and bitter cry,
destroyed death's final tyranny.

So may I give in perfect trust
my soul to Him, my cask to dust.
And walk with Him through that dark shade,
protected, strengthened, unafraid.
Till reaching that celestial shore,
pour out my praise for evermore.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of such a lovely kind person. She will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mervyn.
