In loving memory of Les Hall (Leslie Arthur) who sadly passed away on 18th May 2016 after a courageous battle.

Les had such a kind and gentle manner about him and I'm sure all would agree that he was a wonderful, caring and selfless man who always put others first. He never moaned or groaned and nothing was ever too much trouble. This nature followed him all the way through his life and through his illness to the very end - never complaining.

Les was a strong character who meant so much to so many people. He was quick witted, funny and sarcastic and his cringeworthy jokes, odd humour and silly giggle will be greatly missed.

Les touched so many people's lives especially that of his two sons, Daniel and Kye and his wife, Samantha.

From his work colleagues, his golfing buddies, family friends and people from past through to present, I'm sure all would agree he will be missed.

All are welcome to attend the funeral service, details of which can be found on this page. All that Les's family ask is that you indicate your attendance via the button at the bottom of the page to allow for an estimation of attendees. It is Les's wish that no black be worn at the service.

Family flowers only please however donations can be made in Les's name to 'Brain Tumour Research' or to 'Macmillan Cancer Support' either in person at the funeral, via the donation section of this website or can be posted/delivered to: Co-operative Funeralcare, Ansty Road, Coventry, CV2 3EX if you do not wish to donate online.

Please join us in remembering Les and his unique and kind personality by sharing any photos, memories or memorial messages on this website.

I will think of you every time I use your 'spare' Walkers Toffee Hammer.
Thanks for brightening up my days in ETO, we were always last minute with our submissions but we never missed a deadline.

Haven't seen Les since leaving Jaguar Coventry in 1994 but it says a lot for the man that I still want to express my sincere condolences to his family. I'll always remember his humour, kindness and footballing skill which included innovations such as "sweeping" before it became fashionable. RIP Les. Bob

So sad when I heard the news, Les was one of the good guys, known Les and Sam for many years but really got to know Les over the last ten years working together in SVO, always a gentlemen and a right old character, I got used to his funny little giggle, his finger wagging " do you know what I'm saying " and the ever popular catch phrase " me old mucka ", will miss Lezza , RIP my old friend.
