There is going to be such an empty space in our lives now you have left us. How will we know when it's lunchtime now?
Thank you for your time, for being man enough to push me to be the man I am today and where I am today.
Love you Old Man, Martyn xxx
Thank you for your time, for being the best father-in-law a girl could want. I'm proud that you loved me as the daughter you never had.

Gordon, Thank you for 58 wonderful married years and 2 wonderful loving sons. I miss you so much, my heart is so sad and lonely without you. I am no longer able to fuss over you and spoil you, to put out your clothes on the radiator to warm up, which you appreciated so much. I will always cherish memories of our homes in so many different places. But especially in the later years of our time in Wales, where you wished you had been for the last 20 years! And of holding hands in the motorhome, ready to explore new horizons and to eat biscuits to our hearts content. Now I have to say goodbye until I see you on the other side. I love you my sweetheart xxx Moira xxx

One of many happy memories from our holiday on the Norfolk Broads for Gordon's 70th birthday booked as a surprise.

One of many happy memories from our holiday on the Norfolk Broads for Gordon's 70th birthday booked as a surprise. "Go tell the marines" said Gordon when he was told we had hired the boat for a week not just an hour. This must have been taken after 11am as he has a whisky!

Deepest sympathy on your loss. Gordon was a very special uncle, a real gentleman, we are so lucky to share so many happy memories. Words cannot express how much he will be missed. He was always willing to lend a hand and always had a kind word for everyone. Will always remember Gordon's last visit to Kent where he cuddled his great niece Star. In our thoughts. Love xxx

At such a sad time it's hard to focus on the good things but we have many happy memories such as when Gordon made the squirrel angry which caused the four of us to fall about laughing, his joking - will never forget 'stick in the mud'- practical jokes and so quick witted, extremely good at bowls and golf on the wii, forever changing the rules in card games, always having a good laugh on Saturday's, always there to help. Gordon was more than a brother-in-law.

Too many memories to list.
Thank you Gordon, you'll be sorely missed

It's sad to hear that Gordon (Part Three) has passed away, particularly in the circumstances that it happened.

My memories are of him in South Africa where he was always helping his boys with some tinkering or other in the garage - to do with motorbikes or cars - I spent many an hour as a spectator.

For Moira, Martyn and Debbie - this must be such a hard and difficult time for you all, I'm sorry you weren't able to drop by as intended.

There are no words that can ease your loss, however, I do send you my heartfelt condolences and hope you celebrate his life with a good few drinks, have one for me, as I won't be able to attend the funeral. I will however, raise a glass on the day!

xxx
