John Reeves (30 Apr 1944 - 9 May 2016)

In loving memory of John Reeves who sadly passed away on 9th May 2016 at The John Eastwood Hospice aged 72 years. John was a loving and devoted Husband to Barbara, a much loved Dad to Sarah and Nick, a doting Grandad to Matt, Hannah, Tom and Holly, Great Grandad to Sophie, Father in Law to Ali and Tim, Brother to Ann and Mary and Uncle to Leigh Ann.

John was brought up on Green Street, Upton Park and followed West Ham throughout his life, this month sees an end to an era for both of them as West Ham played their final game at the Boleyn ground the day after John died.

John spent most of his working life in the motor industry but not without trying his hand at Bookmaker and Financial Consultant before retiring to spend his time with his wife Barbara and running about after his grandchildren. He was a generous and supportive Dad and Grandad as well as a loving husband - John and Barbara would have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 4th June.

He lost his short battle with Cancer all too soon and passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side.

John will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everybody whose lives he touched. He will be forever in our hearts.
