What can you say when a brother dear to us all passes on ? The heart is heavy, the mind numbed, the tongue silent, once again another light in our lives is extinguished. Our deepest sympathy we extend to June,Andrew and Deborah at this time. We share the deep sense of loss they are feeling at this time.
Our thoughts will from time to time conjure up those precious memories of our childhood to give us solace from our loss. Alan had a bright extrovert nature often hinged with humour. He never shirked a challenge and pursued his cause to the end.
His devotion to his family was exceptional; June,Andrew, and Deborah were the centre and focus of his life. The struggle Alan faced with cancer was a formidable one- the pain, the psychcological trauma, and the distress it caused his family he addressed stoically, and with condsiderable fortitude.
Alan your spirit lives on; it leaves its mark on me and the rest of your family for the foreseeable future.
So dear brother we, heavy of heart must now bid you a fond farewell. We thank you for your contribution to all of our lives for which we will forever be grateful.
Alan we will miss you so much.
Always loved,
Rest in peace,
Sonny Martine Alex Justin Ian Jaqueline Christopher
