Very sad indeed to hear of George's passing. He was a great character and was an inspiration to me as a little boy because he seemed to know a lot of stuff. We looked up to him but he was also a frightful tease!
I cannot make the funeral but send my love and condolences to all the family.

My big brother and protector with a subtle sense of humour. Many happy memories of our childhood, he had such clever ideas. He took me boating and fishing and made me laugh often
Will miss you George. Love from Judy
