In loving memory of Colin Rees who sadly passed away on 2nd May 2016, he was a loving husband, an amazing father to his beautiful girls and our hero.
He was respected and loved by many especially those that had the honour of serving along side him for the British Army.
He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He gave his all to everything and everyone. Colin will be missed by everyone that ever knew him and had the pleasure to call him there friend and he will never be forgotten we will carry him with us in our hearts forever and a day xxx

This was at the end of the 160 mile March that Colin's pals had arranged. The rest of us were standing at the bottom of that little path, as they appeared at the top. It was such a poignant moment - I'll never forget being a part of that weekend. Won't forget you Colin. Xx

We didn't know Colin as well as we should have, I knew him mostly through Sarah but any man who could help create and raise 2 beautiful, kind, clever girls and put up with that wife of his (only joking Sarah....mostly lol) was the best of men.
Colin will live on through his family, even that dippy dog Bella, and that's the best memorial anyone can gift to the world. All our love to Sarah and the girls and all of Colin's extended family.
Colin, you always managed to put a smile on my face - even when you didn't know about it because us girls were having a husband bashing session, but in person too. You will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to know you, if even for a moment.
Now I better go find that luminous green mankini for Chris, you did say you wanted us in bright things for the funeral...right?

You are and will always be an amazing dude. From back in NI, I arrived, a stranger from another unit. Treated with suspicion. You didn't care, took the piss, took me for a beer and soon grabbed a spare bed space in your room for me. The times were good. The times were bloody good. No matter how many years go by, the memories will remain. I now envisage you pulling up a cloud and keeping watch over the girls. Rest easy my friend. The pain is no more. You fought well. You fought strong. I will miss you, but cherish the memories deeply. I raise a glass to you now and always. ? Martin (Taff H)
