Such sad news - my overriding memory is of his energy - always seemed to sprint - and of course his passion for his subject which was infectious.

Inspiring teacher , so much passion for his subject , always remember him jumping up onto a desk in a demonstration of boudicea in her chariot. Was also a mean shot with a piece of chalk for anyone who dared to daydream during his lessons.
